Rachel Metz of Wired Magazine reported recently that brain-wave typing is coming. Much of the research is being conducted by the new York State Public Health Department’s Wadsworth Center, and it’s geared to individuals disabled with ALS, cerebral palsy, or some spinal-cord injuries. Metz maps out what the device would entail, more than any writer would want, but I could not help but wonder about the power it would give a writer, the speed.
